If you have what did you think of it? Did you love it, hate it? Was it worth the trip? Good hiking? I'm thinking of going there and I wanted other people's opinions.

Been there, done that. It's an interesting place -- as green as you could imagine. Lots of interesting plant live is there. If you like rain, that's the place to be (so be sure to bring some rain gear if you go).

Personally, it wasn't my favorite part of Olympic National Park. I liked the coastline due west of Hoh. The seastacks just off the coast (Second Beach in particular) are simply amazing. Check out the photos on the site below. Hurricane Ridge (a bit of a drive from the rain forest) was interesting if you make it to that part of the park.

I was there about 10 years ago and was amazed that it existed that far north. I am from Florida and wasn't expecting the lush, green ferns. It is worth it, but I suppose it's all in what you really like to see on a hike. It is not like the dry rocky mountains (Mt. Ranier) and better than the muddy hike through the Redwood forest in California, but that is a beautiful site, too. I agree with the answer of going to the coast -- quite amazing!
