In the comics and movies, there are superheros that are strong, that can fly, that can swim, that can turn into animals, that have esp, that can leap tall buildings in a single bound. But why is there no superhero with superhuman intelligence? Is it because our society does not value intelligence? Is it because writers are not smart or cleaver enough to write a story in which some character uses intelligence to solve a problem? Or is there such a superhero that I don't know about?

Technically, James Bond is very intelligent. But he's not a "true" superhero. I think you're right. At the time superhero comics were being written, intelligence wasn't as valued as money or strength. Notice, however, that rarely are any of the superheros married - they have girlfriends/boyfriends, sure, but are never married. Think that one out. ;)

No, it fairly is as a results of the fact all of them placed on tights and are adult men, the tights limit the blood circulate to their techniques and that they can't think of for sure. ok ok JK. i think of it fairly is in ordinary terms a on condition that they are all smart, they might evalulate their situations in a cut up 2nd and are available to a determination what they might do to help the priority. they do no longer look to check what to do , nor do they bypass out of a concern practise manual, additionally they do no longer take it sluggish a provide as much as ask somebody what they must do. they are smart because of the fact they artwork on the fly and help human beings without hesitation. to apply maximum of their kit (like Batman) he ought to renowned some sort of mathmatics and physics to renowned the thank you to apply them. in simple terms because of the fact superhuman intelligence isn't of their titles does no longer recommend they don't have it.

If there were such a hero, then why even bother having heroes?
Heroes are meant to inspire hope, courage, and faith. Intelligence grows from experience, experience comes from challenges, without challenges there is no chance of exercising thought...

'Beast' of the X-Men is just one example...if, that is, you are willing to accept 'genius' as 'super-intelligence'....superhuman intelligence, on the other hand, simply couldn't be adequately expressed/captured/portrayed by human creators....that belongs in the transcendent realm of Gods and Monsters
