have also checked to make sure all the wiring connections are snug and non of the wires look damaged. What else could possibly be wrong?

Could be a bad ground at the motor---check for power at the motor wire with switch and ignition on. If there's power, try running a ground wire from the battery negative post or good clean ground to the metal case of the motor or ground terminal on the motor, if any---if it still doesn't work, the motor is bad. If no power at the motor wire, you'll have to trace back through the circuit for a bad wire or connection. Remember, 12 volt circuits need a good ground to complete the circuit....not just power to the device.

there are two places to check fuse did you check both . one set is under the hood the other is inside passenger compartment on driver side
