What is there to do in latvia and dublin?

my dad and i will be going to latvia for a week in july and we will be stopping in dublin for 12 hours on the way there and we need ideas for things to do in both places. thanks

I did something terribly difficult, I entered Latvia tourist info in the Google search bar. Next I clicked on the first option that came up:

To finish off I'll do something even harder, Dublin tourist info:

For one day do not plan to leave town, there is a lot to see in Dublin. There are several tour-buses that show the town, at least one is an hop-on/hop-off.
There are museums, pubs, musicians on street corners, souvenir shops, .........
