My name is not that difficult to say right - but people always had a hard time saying my name and I am 31 and still have the problem (it annoys the heck outta me). So I would go for a no on the name. But if you leave it at just Xavier, then I like that.

nothing wrong with it but you're leaving your child with a legacy of NO ONE being able to pronounce his name.
It's better to have a name with intrinsic, deep meaning than a name that sounds cute in your own mind. Think of your son. My name (Meighan) has deep meaning, but no one cares to spell it correctly, even when they've seen my signature line in my business e-mail....because people are lazy. And I've been called Michigan, meee gain, and all sorts of other weird crap because of the way it's spelled. If it didn't mean something greater than the unique spelling, I'd be pretty pissed at my mother.
Think about that carefully before you name your baby. Unless it has great value, there's no need to place the burden on your child to have them constantly have to tell people how to spell/say their name every single day of their lives; because you thought it was cute. And I promise you, IT WILL BE every day. Absolutely not worth it unless you plan on raising him in Italy.

You are going to give the kid a migraine! Imagine what he is going to go through every year when it's time to do roll call in school. He will be made fun of! Do you live in Italy?

Do you really want to have to always tell everyone how to pronounce his name?
