I originally started dating one guy, but he ended up being a flake. Then I moved on to another one only to discover he was a little puffed up. After those two duds, I wanted to move on and make a smart start with someone new, who claimed to love grapes (and you know I liked that bc of the purple), but I soon found out he was a nut. The next guy I met was pretty nice but a little unkempt, I kept saying, "Honey, comb your hair, please." Then, I thought I'd date just for kix. So, I got a little loopy and found myself saying, "Cheerio" to every guy who walked by in hopes of finding something or someone a little less fruity. In the end, though, they were all soggy when it came to relationships and I found that I was dating nothing more than a bunch of flakes and nuts. So, I guess I'll have to wait until I find my lucky charm. So, yes, I suppose you could call me a cereal dater!

Now box used to have more than one meaning, but I haven't heard the other meaning used since I was in college. I am only a cereal dater when it is late in the evening and I don't mind paying out of pocket for someone willing to turn a few Trix. I just hand over the money and pour on the old Lucky Charms. I have a certain sweetie that I see when I am lonely. I call her Special Kay. I avoid the flakes. I just want to be with someone who knows how to handle my Grape Nuts. Cheerio.

dater. There's about.... 7 open boxes of cereal in my pantry. And half of those are mostly gone except for just a little bit of the good stuff and a lot of crumbs at the bottom. I guess I'm just too soft-hearted to throw them out. Either that or too lazy.

I only open and eat from one box at a time. If you partake of too many boxes at once, even though you may have a variety pack...they all tend to go stale and you end up wasting a lot of good food.

I'd much rather eat one whole box of cereal at a time, savor every nibble and bite, and delve in good time all the way down to the bottom for the special prize inside the specially marked right box.

SHHH! yes but if the boxes found out they weren't the only one's open......oh, it would be a war zone up in here.
I keep open boxes of cereal in different cupboards so they don't get jealous, none of them know I'm dating around because their cupboard is closed when i choose a different cereal.
Occasionally i make a box feel real special by putting a few unopened boxes in their cupboard, and i pretend I'm gonna choose an unopened one..but at the last minute I take the opened box out for a "date".
Man if these kitchen cupboards could talk....

I used to be BORING but, now I mix whole grain cereal with a granola one! Isn't that inventive?

Same day after day...and almost always with sliced bananas... Talk about GOOD for YOU...the rest of the day varies and gives me some excitement..

Can always eat something not very nutritious with the reasoning that I was "good" at breakfast so I deserve to eat whatever I want the rest of the day...
