The property taxes are usually figured into the rent you get charged so in essence you are paying the taxes. It is very unusual for any one to charge you, the renter, separately. Check your lease agreement. If it isn't in writing, then no.

The owner pays the taxes at the end of the year, just like if you were renting an apartment, you wouldn't expect to pay taxes part of the building.

The owner is responsible for taxes. Hopefully for him, he has factored in the amount of taxes when figuring out the correct rent to charge you.

The owner is liable for the taxes, but understanding that, they've probably factored that into the amount they charge for rent.

I own rental properties and as the owner I am responsible for the taxes.
Unless the rental agreement specifically says you must pay the taxes, typically the renter does not.

I'm pretty sure the owner does. You can always talk to the person your renting it from though.
