In 50 years, we'll be at 10 billion souls at our current rate of growth. There'll be zero fossil fuels, zero coal and other natural resources. Wars will be fought over water. The burgeoning populations will be in the third world countries.
Will technology save the day?....maybe. Will we change our ways to avoid the impending train wreck?....doubtful. Will there be some cataclysmic event that will bring us back down to more sustainable levels, say 3 billion?.....probably.

These answers are very surprising to me. Human beings will not exist 100 years from now? What?
I'm sorry to say the world may be a very different place 100 years from now than it is today.
Just think about it. 100 years ago the year was 1907. People were traveling by horse and buggy. Compared to the way we live today it was very primitive.
100 years from now I'm thinking there will be population problems which will cause overcrowding, resources like water will have to be rationed, more pollution, more crime etc. In my opinion the world will not be a better place.

The world -- as in Planet Earth -- will still be orbiting around the sun.
Humanity will cease to exist 100 years from now. I've give the human race 20 years at most -- our wonderful world leaders will start lobbing A-bombs in a few years. I only pray I'm at Ground Zero when it happens.

I don't think it will be better or worse, just different. The world as a whole will have much more information in it. To people living today, it'll may all seem forgien and bad. To people of the time, it will seem normal and probably good.
It will be changed. So it depends on whether you think change is good or bad.

I believe it will be worse. Prisons are over crowded now and people refuse to discipline their children anymore. So it can only get worse.

It seems that it's becoming more and more likely that we'll all be dead.... due to nuclear catastrophes or environmental collapse or who knows what
