You bet i have and yes, God answered my prayer.

Fifteen yrs, ago, I was told that my daughter would need a kidney transplant, eventually. This frightened me to the very core as my Dad had died from renal failure in '71!

So, as a mother, I began to pray that when the time came, that there would be provisions made for Cindy to get a kidney! I had studied up on the system and it was a five year wait...with a living donor!! For a cadaver....who knew??

So, as time went on, I continued to pray and then, she lost most all her renal function and was at end stage. I had begged and begged them to test my husband and I but, they said they could not until she hit end stage renal failure...she was 23. Well, knowing this, I called another transplant facility and we had an appointment the following week; whereas, I could not even get the facility in our town to test us until "down the road."

In the meantime, I prayed with all I had, knowing that she was nearing death! We tested and the phone call came some four days later! I was the donor! I had the closest match to her and so, the surgery was scheduled!

I knew that God had His hand in this because parents usually are not the best of donors for their children...recessive genes! The best is usually, a sibling or, cousin!

So, yes, I prayed believing that God would see us through this and He did!

When Katrina was heading for New Orleans, and the weather forcasters kept saying it would be a direct hit on the city, I lit candles and prayed to Marie Laveau repeatedly. As it happens, the storm veered to the east at the last moment, saving the city from a direct hit - and from worse damage than they got.

Oh yes, absolutely. Besides praying to God directly, I also often ask Mary to pray for me.

And believe me, there have been a few times where I really, really, really needed her prayers -- and she's never let me down. Not once.

Yeah, i mean it is not that miracolous, but I was in a deep depression and was about to commit suicide, and God brought me out of it, even when i had stopped beleiving. The thing was before i went into this, i prayed that God would bring me someone i would love, and that i would do anything to be with them....guess what happened. I fell in love with a girl and she helped me out of depression. God does work in mysterious ways.

If prayers weren't answered then people wouldn't pray in the first place.

god answers his prayers in his own way. he may not give you what you want but if he doesnt he has a good reason. like he has somthing better planned. like if you have a friend who is really sick and you pray every night that they get better and then they die god may have just wanted them with him and youll see them when you get to heaven.

Of course it's happened. But it would have happened without prayer -- the "answering" of prayers is all random chance.

But are there prayers that are never answered? Yes, indeed. Check here:
