I'm sure you could do what Simmons does now but do you have the history he has? Have you been NWA Champion? Have you been United States Champion? Have you been a multiple time Tag team Champion? My guess is no. Ron Simmons has paid his dues. If the WWE wants to honor his career by giving him a cushy job I say that's fine.

There are a bunch of old time wrestlers who are under contract with the WWE to appear from time to time. Ron Simmons is one, as is Duggan.

It's called paying your dues and now relaxing . Also being in the right space at the right time helped .
