It's a matter of perspective. A 5'10" 165# male is average sized, but that same size female is above average, therefore not very common. Sharapova and V. Williams are two of the tallest ever to play and they are 6'2" and 6'2 1/2".

Because woman are supposed to be slim--> but both weights are VERY skinny. A woman who is 5-10 could weight 200 pounds and a man should weigh 230 pounds and still be healthy,

Lindsay Davenport is also very tall, I believe 6'2 or so.
