I don't know how to swim, too bad. Maybe I'll just sit and kick the water at the pool and let my dreams swim in the big ocean that can bring me farther.

The ocean, at a nice tropical beach somewhere. Of course, a pool is more practical, since I live 500 miles from the nearest coast...

Swimming pool is much calmer, and you can actually just "chill" in it...id rather be at the ocean, and Id rather be IN the pool!

I would like to say the ocean as it sounds more romantic, but I am terrified of sharks.
I did my PADI open water dive qualification on the great barrier reef a few years ago, only because the guy I was with at the time really wanted to. I was terrified the whole time, it was one of the most amazing things I have done when I look back, but at the time I was just operating on pure adrenalin, I was that scared.

I will take our nice warm ocean anyday over the pool. There is so much more to see and do, in the ocean.
