I'm talking about programs like American Idol, America's Got Talent, The Next Best Thing, Last Comic Standing, etc.
Do you vote for your favorites on shows like these (or others)? If not, how come?

i do when the series are beginning to end and my favs are still in there otherwise i don't because the people that i like changes weekly if you get my drift

NO... I really don't dislike them. I have been a professional musician for over 50 years and I think those made-for-TV reality talent shows make it possible for the average person who has never been on a stage, to see just how BAD some of those losers who think they have TALENT, actually ARE. It gives the average person a chance to see people with a total lack of talent make a fool of their self and see it from MY perspective when one of these no talent losers comes up to the bandstand or stage and wants to 'audition' to show me what a great singer they are... For some reason, most people think they can sing... 99 percent of all women think they are dancers and most men seem to think they can pick up a guitar for the first time and hammer out a blinding fast riff.... and THEY ARE ALL WRONG.... especially when their efforts are being well lubricated with grain alcohol Those reality shows are a REAL window into my world and the way I see the lack of talent that most people have but can't be honest enough with theirselves to admit they don't have any talent.

I did do a little voting for So You Think You Can Dance but I stopped voting for American Idol years ago

American Idol, I did vote at the very last show. I was surprised that I even got through because it was the last show. But for the other show's that you listed. They are not my favorite show's and none of them are and to me I tape the other show's and so by the time I watch them its too late too call in to vote for them.

I voted for my favorite on American Idol and Dancing With The Stars. I'm so glad Apolo and Julianne won. It was close between Joey Fatone & Apolo. Both excellent dancers. Don't care to the summer reality shows to care who wins....so I don't vote.

I vote for my favorites on Dancing with the Stars and So You Think You Can Dance. I watch other competition-based reality shows sometimes but I don't have enough interest in them to vote like I do with Dancing with the Stars and SYTYCD.

No I don't vote. I don't care that much about it to even think of doing it. Why waste the ungodly fees they have for you to do it. That's what stops me.
