I have no doubt that that brett favre will go down as one of the best. Despite this however, he is getting to a point where he is starting to push his ability too far. he has been in the league since drafted by The Atlanta Falcons in 1991. That's 16 years. that is a little long. he should just leave the league before he really hurts himself or drops his rating.

Brett Favre will break the touchdown record but unfortunately most likely break the record for all time interceptions thrown as well. He will definitely retire this year, as a matter of fact the only way I see Favre NOT retiring is if the Pack comes within like 1 game of the superbowl and falls just short... that is the only way I see him retiring, Brett wont go out like that. Lets all sit back and enjoy the final season we're going to get to watch the greatest player to ever dawn the green and gold do what he does best... play football.

First off, Brett Favre will do as Brett Favre does. If he gets help from his receivers, he will dominate. If not, then he is on his own (and one man can't carry a team). Secondly, yes, I believe that GM Ted Thompson and Head Coach Mike McCarthy have found the right starting offensive line with Chad Clifton, Daryn Colledge, Scott Wells, Jason Spitz, and Mark Tauscher. They provided adequate protection last year with the entire interior line having less than 3 years of experience, so they will only improve from now on. Whether Brett Favre retires or not after this year is up to him, his wife, and his two daughters and no one else. He can still rocket the ball over 60 yards downfield to Donald Driver or Greg Jennings, and he still has yet to miss starting a game since 1992; that's how tough he is. Favre will do fine. The people around him are the question. However, with Driver and Kampmann returning from the Pro Bowl, Jennings healing from his ankle injury, and strength in numbers from the draft, the Packers will be playoff contenders for this year.

Regardless of the Packers record Brett will go out with a bang breaking a couple more records which wont be touched for a long long time. Enjoy it while you can because the ole Miss gunslinger will be done after this year. With a weak division the Pack stand an outside chance to make the playoffs but they are far from being Super.
Sidebar : With a broken foot, one blind eye and a cast on his his hand Brett would still be better than Wrecks Grossman of the slime ball Bears.

Packers will win the NFC north. Favre will have about 25 touchdowns and 16 INTs. The linemen are better than last year, receivers will definitely be better. Running game will be average at best. Remember, they won 4 in a row at the end of last year. Stomping on the Bears at the end.

The Packers were shameful for letting their 3 best linemen go a coupla years ago - they really sold Brett out! Their new young line showed signs of getting better late last season though. There are some pretty big 'IF's at play here. If they can keep their receivers healthy ( I wish they had a coupla better ones), Bubba Franks remembers once again how to catch a football (I wanted them to draft a good tight end), they can somehow manufacture a running game, and their defense plays at least as good as they did late in the season ----- they can be major contenders!!! Favre can still play - he just can't do it all by himself like he has tried to do the last couple of years.

it really depends. he has the talent and the heart to still be great. but his team is a little shakey. if the packers pull off a trade to get LJ the packers and Favre could have a great year!

He will do what he has done the last couple of years, throw twice as many interceptions than touchdowns, then he will blame the "team" for his mistakes. He should have retired last year, how can you rebuild a team around an old man? uhhh....you can't.
