The volume is actually (4/3) pi r^3. Well, all you have to do is compute V(r + 1) - V(r) = (4/3)pi ((r+1)^3 - r^3)

V(r) = (4/3)r^3
V(r+1) = (4/3)(r+1)^3

So
V(r+1) - V(r) = (4/3)(r+1)^3 - (4/3)r^3

You can simplify this, but that's the basic equation.
I hope this helps!
