the yankees are finished! i am yankee fan, but admit the season is finushed due to piss poor pitching and shoddy defense at times! what of national league wildcard? i say san diego!

Detroit will win the division. The Indians will more than likely be the Wildcard. it depends on how Seattle responds.

I am happy to hear a sensible Yankee fan. The American League wild card will come from the Central Division. I think Detroit will win the Central with their superior starting pitching leaving Cleveland or Minnesota to be the wildcard.
San Diego wins the NL West Division with the Dodgers and the Diamondbacks battling it out for the wildcard.

Likely from the AL Central, Detroit is a good pick. I am hoping for my M's to make it, but depends on which team shows up. Sometimes we get crushed, then the next day we pitch a shutout.
Definitely NL West for their Wild Card, but I think SD will win the West.

I think you have to look at three teams in the American League; Detroit, Cleveland, and Seattle. Two of these will go to the playoffs and one will not make it, and I believe the team that is not going to the playoffs will be Seattle.
