Yo dude, with or without Torres, Liverpool F.C. is already a superpower way before our time. The inclusion of the 26million pounds signing is to add more fire-power up front alongside Crouch, Bellamy and Kuyt.

Liverpool is now still in a revamp stage and it's still early to chase the likes of Man Utd and Chelsea F.C., though the team is a strong challenger for the title. With Rafa at the helm, it's just a matter of time before the Reds are ready to conquer not only Europe, but EPL as well.

Cheers :)

?????? yeah, right. I do admire your optimism, though. If Barcelona, having the best footballers (Ronaldinho, Messi, Etoo, Deco, Xavi, Márquez...and now Henry), has only won the Spanish Super cup and Cataluña Cup, do you really think Liverpool will win everything? And even worse, if a team like Real Madrid, that has played really badly this season (and the two before) who's best player is an old Val Nistelroy, is the Liga's Champion, do you really think that quality and fairness has anything to do with football? I'm sorry mate, but get real.

lol, Liverpool has always been a HIgh Prestige club.... They already are a superpower. And lol lets see if the coach doesnt mess up our UEFA chances like this past years by not putting crouch in until like 10 minutes left.

You know liverpool was always an awsome team. just that chelsea manchester united and arsenal were kust better by a close margin. but this is soccer and it is a very rare for a club to be dominant in european soccer. and by dominant i mean superpower great. beating all the teams by a huge margin and even the great teams dont match up

Bring in two wingers, quality though, not another Pennant or Gonzales, and you'll see the best of Torres. Other than that forget it, he'll be another Morientes. Great striker, yet poor at Liverpool. Did he turn rubbish or did he not get decent service from your Carragher, to Hypia, to Carragher, long ball to the front men team? Hmmm..........

They are already a superpower but they might get better rankings in premiership with their signings.
