Not only do I pick it up, but I also recite "See a penny pick it up, all day long you have good luck. See a penny leave it lie, and good luck will pass you by." My great-grandmother use to tell me that all the time. So reciting it is sort of a tribute to her.

I pick up any coins on the ground. The coins may come in handy. I'm not sure about the good luck part though.

no i hate pennies i purposely trow them on the ground. maybe sumone else will find it pick it up for me and then happy birthday they can have all the good luck they want

I would pick it up i save them,but the only luck that i will have is bad luck.if it wasn't for bad luck i would have no luck at all. there is no such thing as luck

Yes I do and I'm not superstitious, so it doesn't matter if it's heads or tails up, it's going into my pocket.
