Maggs has been struggling a little lately, which may be a glimpse of things to come in the second half. I do not believe he will continue to struggle. Ordonez has been on of the best all around players in MLB for the past 7 years, starting when he was with the White SOx. Players like that do not struggle mightily for extended periods of tie, they are just too talented.

No I think he will stay hot for the long haul. He should finish with an above 300 average for sure. His home run drought concerns me though. Its been quite a while since he has put one in the seats. But he still is hitting the balll hard.
I was watching a retrospective of his career and this is the kind of hitter he was with the White Sox before the knee injury. I think he will be fine. I dont think he will stay in contention for the MVP but a long as the Tigers stay winning I don't see how that matters.

If he stays healthy he should finish strong. Health is always an issue with Ordonez.

I'm a huge Tigers fan, and i gotta say, not trying to be bias, that i think he'll stay "hot" the rest of the season. I don't think he'll hit 30+ homers, but i'd say he'll at least hit .350 with 130 rbi or so. Players like that don't just stop hitting, he's in his early 30's, he's got a lot of good seasons left in him.

Maggs will not struggle believe me. Look for him to win the Al MVP.
