How much does this cost? I am not sure yet if I will have to do this, but the doctor did tell me that it will not be easy for me to conceive, and at the least I will have to get hormone shots to assist. My sister had to have In votro to have her child. My husband and I would like to have a child next year, and if In vitro is what I have to do, I do not know if I can afford it. What is the cost? Does any insurance company cover this? I have Community Blue...

It is quite expensive. It also depends where you live. In some states infertility is consider an illness so it has to be covered by insurance so check with your insurance or call a fertility clinic before getting too scare about prices. Good luck!

It depends where you live it is anywhere between 10,000 to 20,000 Some Insurance companys do help pay for it. By sisters Insurance helped her with it they gave her like 4,000 and her's cost 15,000 but luckily for her it took on the first try

$10,000 per try. It took my friend 3 tries and $30,000 to get her twin daughters.
