I had my Pc sent away recently, and had a new HD put in.
When i got it back, for example, when typing, the @ is in the place where " should be, and a lot are missing?

Anyway to reinstall these or individually put them somewhere?

Help needed!
Thanks

Click START, then RUN and type CHARMAP in the open space. Click OK.

The character map will come up, and you can locate all of your symbols there.

Just click the symbol you want, and click copy.

goto control panel> regional & language options>

then under region tab change to the english version that suits your location (ie english (british) or english (irish)

also change the location to your country

then click on the languages tab and then details

click add and choose the english that suits you and hit ok

then set your newly added language as your default input language

click apply and thats it

Open `control panel` open `Regional and Language Options`
Change everything to `English (United Kingdom)`

Once doen, you might have to do a re-boot to see results.
