Here is a good spot to start your research. It may vary by state.

"An action for an annulment must be started by a certain time. The time limit depends on the type of marriage. The shortest time to start an annulment is 4 years after the marriage."

There are conditions to get an annulment, not so much time restrictions. For instance, fraud is a condition. If you would found out 2 years after your marriage that you were frauded into marriage, than you can get that marriage annulled. It is best for you to seek the advice of a legal professional instead of a yahoo website.

It is never too late. I know someone who had been married over 10 years whose marriage was annuled. The Catholic Church seems to have only 1 requirement for granting an annulment--pay the fee. If you pay up, poof, you were never married.

I've heard of people annulling after a year. I think it depends upon the circumstance. It could also depend on what state you live in.

Check the return policy with Kay. Speak to a manager at Kay, and tell them your dilemma. They may be able to do something or send you in the proper direction. I think 6 months is too late, however you can always sell the ring at a jewelry exchange (they bought my brother's wedding ring), in which case you'd have to shop around for the best price. Good luck.
