This is unfair because it gives the teams in the NL more teams to have to compete with for the wild card spot and you have divisions with 4 teams in the AL and divisions with 6 teams in the NL.
Why not put one of the NL west teams in the AL west like maybe Arizona or Colorado and bring the Astros down to the NL west to make the divisions a little more balanced. The AL west has the Ranger's in their division so it wouldn't be a big deal to put a Texas team in the west.
What do ya think MLB??????????????????????
sound like a good idea?

You always have to have an even number per league or two teams would always have to play in interleague matchups. That's why in inter-league play there is always a series between two NL teams because there is no AL team to play.

Also you just can't go moving teams anywhere you want. One reason the Braves no longer play in the NL West is because that makes travel difficult on a team with no close division match-ups.

Also, the only way you would see this remedied is to expand to 32 teams. That's not going to happen because, as it is, the league is having trouble supporting 30 teams

If each league has 15 teams then that means a team from each league won't have any one to play on nights when all the teams play, that is unless they play an interleague matchup. This means no money is being made for these 2 teams, so thats a problem that the league doesnt want.

You mean 30 is divisible into two, equal numbers?

Damn! And for the past ten seasons, no one has yet noticed! Alert the Nobel Mathematics Prize committee.

Hint: it's not about the number of teams, it's about the number of teams needed to play each game. And 15 doesn't divide perfectly by two. Luckily, 16 and 14, do.

well they thought it was a good idea to move Milwaukee to
the NL to make it more balance. we can't go thru another 2 expansion teams.
not another Devil Ray / Rockie disater.
only the Marlins & Diamondbacks have had success & actually won the World Series.
and please no more re-alignments.
they won't put an expansion team in Vegas because of the gambling situation, but how about a team in San Antonio.
what about a team in New Mexico.
