i hate him for what he did,
but no doubt he was a great wrestler. when he entered the squared circle, you knew you were going to see a great match....
WWE wont metion his name anymore because of what he did, i mean, they even got rid of his superstar page on wwe.com so that indicates they want nothing to do with the name -chris benoit-.
his actions outside of the ring ,i think have jeopordised his chances of ever entering the hall of fame.

Chris Benoit will never be in the Hall of Fame. Sorry. Now I know every one says that the Hall of Fame is just based on what you accmplished in wrestling.

Not true. Benoit is believed to be a murderer (whether or not you believe that is your interpretation). In any other sport even a great legend would not be in the hall of fame if they commited the same crimes as Benoit.

If Benoit was inducted there would be a severe media backlash. Heck even some pro wrestling fans have turned their backs on Chris Benoit. Peoplle would protest the WWE and the mainstream media and sports journalists would have a field day (as many of them consider wrestling low brow and try to attack Vince anyway they can) This would hurt WWE relationship with the public.

You also have to take into consideration that the WWE as pother shareholders besides The McMahons. Regardless of Vince's relationship with Benoit he has to please the other shareholders. Even if Vince is willing to induct Benoit in the Hall of Fame (which I doubt) I am almost positive that some shareholders would disagree.

Not to metion I am sure some of the other wrestlers would be angry at Benoit's (alleged) actions. Also who get up on the stage and induct Benoit talk about all the good things he did, knowing along with the rest of the crowd what he (allegedly) did.

Now I could see the WWE inducting Nancy (who was a legitament wrestler) and Daniel into the Hall of Fame as a type of closure and comfort to the rest of the Benoit family as a sort of memorial to the tragedy.

I wouldn't mind if he doesn't. He doesn't deserve it as a person...

But he deserves it as a wrestler. Nothing can take out the fact that he was one of the best wrestlers in WWE, not even a suicide/double homicide. And WWE is bascially about wrestling, so I think he will be an inductee.

Personally and as a 10 year Benoit fan, I don't want that to happen. But I'm just being realistic.
The only person that I can think about that deserves a Hall of fame spot is Owen. THAT was a star, and THAT was a tragic death.

WWE is starting to creep me out in the first place telling lies about Benoit's son and all. That's just not right and I hope the feds find something wrong in their organization and put a bunch of them in jail - the executives, attorneys, etc., not the wrestlers. But, to answer your question, I doubt it either.

I believe that Chris Benoit should be inducted into the WWE Hall Of Fame....hell, he deserves it!!! Chris Benoit is one of the best wrestlers ever!!! No one will ever be able to do what he does in the ring!!!
I don't believe that Vince will put him in it even though he does deserve it!!!
But then again, stranger things have happened...

R.I.P. CHRIS, NANCY AND DANIEL!!!

He won't. He should.

King of Kings fan, inducting Daniel Benoit into the HoF would be absolutely retarded, period.

I think the better question is, who cares?

But seriously, do they have a policy? Baseball wouldn't let Pete Rose because of his gambling. If WWE has an class (hahahahaha, right), then they won't let Benoit in.
