I would search google. Put the lyrics in that you know, it does help. Or you can post what you do know and we can try to help you :)

Just about any decent web search site will let you do that. You don't need to go to a site that catalogs just lyrics. If you search for an Uncle Cracker song on countrymusiclyrics.com, you'll probably never find what you want. But if you use yahoo or google to search for "uncle cracker lyrics I know a cabin down there in Tennessee ", you'll probably find what you want on the first page.

I'd try typing the phrase you've got into google. It might just find it. It will probably find a bunch of pages containing the phrase, and with luck one of them will be the complete lyrics. If you're really lucky the page will be on one of the lyric sites, and then you've got a place to start when you want to find other stuff.

If you go on to Google and type in the words it will most likely give you the rest of the lyrics and the name. I do it all the time.

Go there and in the search engine type the lyrics and choose "lyrics". It gives you some songs with those words used.

Leo's Lyrics has a category where you can put in scattered words or a phrase. Another place lets you put in artist and song title. I prefer Leo's.
