I think I would have to go with the horse on this one, monkeys are just too agile and hard to catch. Plus I am not good at climbing trees. The second reason would be that there is far more food in a horse. But on the other hand if you were afraid that the meat would go bad before you ate it all then I would go with the monkey. But there are variables you haven't calculated in yet, are you the only person around? Maybe I would ride the horse into town and sell the monkey to pay for some real food.

My wife just got back from Italy and at several restaurants in the north there was horse on the menu so eating horse I guess is not so far fetched. Horse for me!

Considering the fact that horses are domestic to the united states i would definately feel safer eating horse meat, and not taking the chance of picking up some weird, uncurable disease from africa.
