They encourage me to believe that society is moving towards being more tolerant and accepting. They are our greatest allies in educating people who are unaware of the struggles we undergo against homophobic people.

As with all things, to respect another no matter the differences, creates inclusion and acceptance, which leads to trust.

I would think that those who are willing to walk the talk, and live beside Gay folks in just the same way as they do straights, it gives an unspoken possibility to those who feel compelled by division and intolerance.

Lots of impact on society came from the white people who helped blacks vote in Mississippi during the sixties. They weren't black, but they helped the blacks vote. Breeders who respect us queers make a great impact on the rest of the world by showing how you respect other people.

I think we show that not all straight people are homophobic. We show gay people that there is hope that one day everyone will be equal.

In my opinion, they are truly a catalyst for change. Without their support, then our causes will remain on the fringe.

Allies are those who help us in the educational process about who we are as a people/culture.

I respect the person, I just don't like what they do.
