Would I get more recognition for being unique? Are there many famous left-handed guitarists? Would it be much more difficult? My permanent ideal potential is embedded into my left arm right? Because the hand you choose at birth shall always serve greater use than the other right? So should I play as a lefty.

Well, 3 of the probably most prominent musicians are/were left handed - Jimmi Hendrix, Kurt Cobain, Paul McCartney, are left-handers. So....sue yourself:)

the most famous left handed guitarist is Paul McCartney. I'm a lefty. i've tried playing a right handed guitar right handed. Brain refuses to cooperate. You can re-string a guitar, but, you also have to re-glue the bridge. You can buy left handed guitars. You could go to a guitar shop and ask them how much it would cost to redo a right handed guitar for a lefty. that's some ideas boss. I'd stay left handed even though equipment is not as abundant

I'm left handed (ok mildly ambidextrious) I always played right handed guitars strung normally. Main reason was left handed guitars were harder to find and were cost prohibitive to me. Besides the one time I tried a left handed guitar, I got completely confused on it.

Jimi took a right handed guitar, turned it left, and strung it upside down. Maybe if you did this you could vibe on his mojo..? You should naturally be more creative anyway being left handed.

Simple, buy a left handed guitar.

Or just buy an acoustic without a pickguard and restring it upside down.

Unless you have ALOT of patience, don't play upside down like other people say. It'll give you some hell.

If it feels natural to play lefty, then do it. If it's not comfortable, it's only going to look awkward and weird to an audience and it could affect your playing.

i think so, cuz it would be easier to play w/ ur dominant hand, although i don't think i've ever noticed anyone playing lefty u might need a custom made guitar.
