Tim McIlrath of Rise Against with out hesiation, they are clearly the ultimate punk band, anyone who has herd any of their music will know what i mean. another close one is Fat Mike of NOFX.

ooooo, sadly gerard way no longer count cos MCR are no longer punk whatever anybody says their last album was barely justifiable as rock, at one point they were great, now they are a discrace to the genre punk / rock

Henry Rollins- great music, the spoken word stuff's killer, and the books are great
Mike Ness- my god can he write a song
Dexter Holland-Offspring- another one with a post graduate degree, a Masters
