And it is usually conservatives that hate people from other countries, except Canada, I wonder why that is???

Tom T: I noticed that Republicans and Democrats alike in Congress agreed that the amnesty is bad. But that is not my question. The immigration issue has been around for years, yet lately, there are billions of anti-mexican spam emails going out, blaming immigrants for all the problems in America. Is all this attention to immigration, escalated to divert our attention from the real issues.

Government policies are to blame for the lack of every thing
in all of the coalition countries ,in Australia our mr Howard,
is on the way out,as most Aussies are fed up with the crap
him and the Treasurer Peter Costello are trying to feed us,
Their stories don't match for one on our economy and the state of our $,also the price of petrol at the bowser is 50%
higher than at the start of our year, health care has taken a dive and our mortages are just about out of reach for low
income earner's,and the sooner the liberals pee off the better our country will be under the ALP,then and only then will our countrymen return to our shores from around the world.let's see if this present government will recognise our
Service Personell from this WAR ZONE,because they didn't
from Vietnam,I am proud to be called an Aussie, but i don't
like our present leader or his policies.

perhaps. Though it isn't the fault of the immigrants for the lack of health care, lack of benefits, etc., the fact that they are here and taking money away from American workers and also finding ways to claim American benefits certainly doesn't help the situation. Investigation of corrupt politicians is very important, but unfortunately, until there are repercussions when it is proven that they are corrupt, it doesn't do much good.

It doesn't seem to be working or is it?
They are tired of using only the war on terror.
Every time something important comes up, that immigration bill which has been killed (how many times) before, comes back to the surface of the most important issues.

With a little intelligence one would come to an explanation: "Normal" people finally become aware about a dramatic change of our society, triggered by PC and bleeding heart idiots.

No, it is the Dem's that call conservative haters to distract people from getting the true facts. The Democrats only want there point of view shown, PLEASE no confusing the issues with the facts. Peace

No more than liberals use their pet issues to wag the dog. Politics is politics, no matter what side you are on. We need statesmen, not politicians!

Conservative are not--I don't think Americans blame the illegals for our problems, however, they are added to those problems and I might also add--they are here illegally.

very interesting angle. I never looked at it like that but I'm sure these politicians have multiple agendas under this subject that they aren't saying.

For the correct answer to your question, I would suggest you consult with your DEMOCRATICALLY controlled Congress. Hopefully, that helped you as I realize your only interest is in getting the truth.
