Name poll..?

Question

Okay so I'm trying to do a name thing. Which name is your favorite (these are boy names):

Calum
Emry
Apollo

Which is your favorite? You can suggest names too. But they have to be boy names and sort of exotic or mythical.

I'd go with Apollo. . . unless your character is suppose to be a good guy.

Then I'd pick Calum.

Apollo means 'destroyer' and Calum means 'dove'.
(That's why I would pick Apollo as bad and Calum as good.)

Those aren't bad names. Apollo is a rather loaded name; too much history and Greek mythology behind it. Calum sounds physically weak, but that doesn't mean the name couldn't work. Emry, to me, seems like an old man's name, not a boy, but again, it could work depending on the character.

Well, I don't like Apollo as it is a god's name. Emry sounds like a girl's name to me. Calum sounds very protestant. I don't know why...maybe because of Caleb.
You should tell what kind of a character is missing a name.

I think i like Calum the best. I don't like Apollo because it reminds me of Apollo Anton Ohno from the Olympics, not very mythical. Emry sounds like a Sesame street character to me. I think names ending in -thos are good too. like Anthos or Porthos.

Emry is my favorite, though I prefer Emery. I also like Erik, Skylar, Milo, Logan, and Rider. Some of those are more exotic than other but anyway I really like Emry or Emery.

Calum reminds me of Calcium and Apollo has been used too many times and is too well known.

I like Emry, but i also like Darian (Dare-e-in), it can be used as a boy or girls name.....or how about Calum Emry?

Calum is cool. But I really like Royce.
