Sweet young thing, your nickname doesn't go with your answer. I don't have a brutal barbarian man and definitly I'm sure don't like a whining as you call it, but THERE IS NOTHING WRONG TO SAY HOW YOU FEEL, to the woman that you love. I do agree with most of the answers exept yours and goldwing110083. You two are one for each other good luck

Some men feel as though if they tell you there true feelings that women will take them and run with them. Meaning they will know how the man is thinking and we will know how to hurt them when we they hurt us. Men like to seem so hard but once you leave them there true love for you come out and its not right but that's how they are they build this wall and let there feelings out to a certain extent then shut down when it gets series you will never figUre men out they cant even figure them selves out. Go home set the mood put ur sexy something on get the wine candles and romance him buy telling him our you feel and turn the question on him if he ask fun just hit him with this phrase "why wont you tell me Ur feeling you don't love me think of something sad and cry Little that works for me all the time simply because they don't want to see us sad

Men experience feelings like rushing river. There are different mixes coming to the top all the time. Usually there is one that is dominate, but sometimes its just an odd mixing of different ones. The think is by the time we sit down and think about how we feel we don't feel that way any more. Men feel what they feel at the time they feel it and exploring what they felt only distracts them from feeling what they feel now.

Some men were raised that way. look at their fathers. Some cultures think a man is less of a man if he shows emotion. My fathers raised me that way but i found out i have less stress if i do not bottle the emotions up inside. It takes work to get a guy to open up.

It's just the way some men are. It's like pulling teeth. Just try to keep talking to him and maybe as time goes on he will be more open to telling you how he feels. I wish you the best of luck!

It is how we were raised, and it's an evolutionary survival skills. Men are hunters, in our genes. Emotions get in the way. We learned over 6 million years to control them. Women lived in the cave and learned to bond with other women and children.

IF he did express his emotions, you would be asking, "Is my husband Gay?" Men cannot win, no matter what they do. I am sure he was the same before you married him, after you married him, and as he is today, still the same.

My husband can so I am not entirely sure.

However...

I used to date a guy who absolutely could not tell me anything like that...he had been hurt too many times. It took me leaving (after 18 months) for him to tell me that he loved me and wanted to marry me...this was after I was already gone...

Becasue as boys they are raised to repress their emotions. Its not manly to express yourself, get him drunk and have a heart to heart.
