What bit of this don't her in-laws get? That's weird. Obviously he was a spoiled brat all his life and things had to go his way. No, SHE should not leave HE should leave. And HE should be taken to the cleaners. And his parents should be told to mind their own business. And you need to be there for sis.

I agree with the in-laws, unless her husband has committed adultery. Let the husband be the one to leave.
I'm thinking of starting an organzation to outlaw divorce. Under my program, a faithful partner could divorce a partner who was unfaithful, but then the unloyal partner would get nothing. That would render null and void any pre-nuptial agreement to the contrary and I would eventually make pre-nuptial agreements illegal, anyway.

If her husband asked her for a divorce, he has already thrown in the towel. Once you throw the "d" word into a marriage it is only going to get tossed around.. Your sister shouldn't stay and try to change his mind. She's not the one giving up......HE IS!

All i will propose is telling your sister that the grass is often greener on the different facet of the fence. If this 38 year previous is this variety of large capture, then why is he divorced? Its oftentimes in no way one person's fault a marriage fails, so its no longer sensible to bypass away one husband and take somebody else's discarded husband. there's a reason he's no longer married. I additionally do no longer propose paying for and advertising in spouses. i could propose marriage counseling in the previous any judgements are made which would be damaging to the well being of their toddler. As for you, she could or will possibly no longer pay attention to you. you in basic terms could desire to understand while to step decrease back and enable her do what she is going to do. there's no element in dropping any sleep over it, using fact your sister is grown, and he or she is going to do what she needs regardless. in basic terms be there to pay attention while she desires somebody to talk to.

apparently, there is a reason for your sister husband has asked for a divorce. but whatever the reason(s) are, if he isn't willing to work things out with his wife, then it's best that she leaves

I think it is her business, her huisband's business and they should do whats best for each other and noone else. The in laws evidentally didn;t hear therir boy tell he he wanted a divorce no matter what and they are going to support him through it anyway as they are his family.

If your sister's husband is serious about the divorce - no in-laws can convince her otherwise.
