As i recalled, the Irag commission concluded in its study that Irag under Saddam Husein has absolutely nothing whatsoever to do with 911, but yet still my fellow citizens tends to disregard their findings, and sided with the current administration version of whom was involved in carrying out 911 attacks.
Also the Republicans are trying very hard to label the democrats for lack of support of our troops. How can people sit idely by and listen to such bull crap. It is not the democrats that sent our young men and women to their death, maimed under fabricated lies, if i recalled correctly, that was done by dick head chaney, and oh yes the naive president, whom i think is being or has being banboosul by his VP. Is because of Dick Chaney, this President will go down as the worse president in modern day America.

Iraq did not have anything to do with 9/11. With that said, Iraq did support terrorism and was a rouge nation. They did not follow the terms of the cease fire and Saddam was less than forthcoming about his weapons. That is why we went to war with them again. After 9/11, the world did indeed change. Rouge nations that support terrorism can not be allowed to operate freely, thumbing their noses at the world. Iraq provides a statement to such countries and a stable pro-American country in the Mid-East would be a great benefit to our country. The war has been mishandled, but it was a bold initiative that could change the face of the Mid-East for the better. Too bad it has been politicized by the left. I believe that if we as a country got behind this, we could win the peace and do great things. As to your BS statement about democrats not sending anyone to war, lmfao. How about you go back and look at how they voted. They voted for the war and you can't spin that fact. What amazes me is your lack of understanding. I suggest you check factcheck.org for some info on your assumption that Bush lied. It is an UNBIASED site.

Because you can present people with the truth, put it right in their faces, and if they are afraid, they still wont' believe you. This happens in many other areas besides politics, but the worst is in politics. Ever notice how when a newspaper or magazine has to print a retraction, they put it in the back somewhere where it gets missed by most people? The right doesnt want you to believe the truth, hence the 40% who don't believe the truth...."there are none so blind as those who won't see"

Some people are sheep and believe anything you tell them. It's very hard for conservatives to admit they are wrong.
We KNOW Iraq had no WMDs and they were not involved 9/11. But the Bush administration has to justify this war, so NOW Iraq was harboring the terrorists.
I still say its all about the oil.

Iraq wasn't directly involved in 9/11, but it was involved in other terrorist attacks (like suicide bombings in Israel). A lot of people don't seem to distinguish between 9/11 and other terrorist attacks. It seems like they think 9/11 was the only terrorist attack that has ever happened, or ever will happen.
Plus, they are slightly related. Iraq's terrorist attacks in Israel have caused problems between Israel and the Palestinians. And Al Qaeda has said that the problems between Israel and the Palestinians is one of the reasons it does its terrorist attacks.
Also, Iraq threatened Saudi Arabia, and in response the US put its troops into Saudi Arabia to defend them. And Al Qaeda has said the fact that our troops were in Saudi Arabia is another one of the reasons it does its terrorist attacks. Saudi Arabia is holy ground for them, and they don't want us infidels there. Even though we're only there to protect it.

As someone from outside of the US, the statistic I hear is that 45% of people there believe this superstition. The US is the richest and most technically advanced nation on earth (with the possible exception of Japan as regards "technically advanced"). So this is somewhat concerning. The US leads the world in so many things; I wonder why it seems to lag behind as regards religious belief.

It is called political spin and the Repubs are very good at it. The examples of Repub spin are endless and unfortunately many people listen to only say FOX News so they do not hear anything but White House spin 24 hours a day, every day.
