Barbie is NOT bad for little girls or big girls.... I have been playing with Barbie's all my live and I LOVE HER! She is beautiful, well dressed, and the epitome of everything that is good. Barbie lets girls pretend that they can do anything they set their mind to. Barbie comes in ANY occupation that is imaginable! If you want to be a doctor, vet, astronaut, teacher, movie star, etc., you just go into the "Barbie World" and you know that you can do it! IF ANYTHING, SHE IS AN INSPIRATION FOR ALL!

Barbie projects an unobtainable beauty standard for young girls. While it is commendable that some Barbie dolls are supposed Doctors, Veterinarians, career women, ultimately she still symbolizes a level of aesthetic perfection that is impossible to achieve. Think about it this way (proven fact) if Barbie were a real live person she would be unable to even stand up (as her feet are too small and she is top heavy).
But hey, the media projects this same standard daily...so its no wonder America has so many girls with eating disorders!

I believe that Barbie isnt bad for little girls, as long as it's kept in mind that it's a doll. Barbies now are kind of like set as what little girls should look like. And alot of the young girls dont understand that everyone doesnt have to look, and dress like her too. She isn't bad, and is great to play with and such, but you have to keep in mind that she is a doll.

That is because of the sexy dresses that the Barbie dolls are made to wear. Kids adore Barbie and they often want to copy barbie's dressing style.

Barbie is blamed because adults refuse to take the responsability for not doing their job in teaching the child the difference between unobtainable expectations of fantasy play and those obtainable ones of real life. A toy is just a canvas for the imagination. How many adults just buy toys for the kids and never spend time in playing with them. The kids need adults to enjoy being a part of their fantasy time as well as the reality of life. Teaching them that all toys are inferior to the real things is not stressed enough. I always knew that toys were not as good as the real ones. I could enjoy pretending to fly in toy airplanes while afraid of doing so in the real ones. Never had or will fly in a real plane because of a fear of extreme heights. I as a child and now an adult love toy ships but cannot swim. Neither one of those types of toys do I blame for my fear of flying or being unable to swim. The fantasy of those toys allowed me to do imagine activities that never would be done in reality. I had these army men with unbelievable bodies. I never joined a gym to be like them. My chores and jobs was hard enough for me. Besides, it was clear that my body was real and their ones were plastic.

If you attach barbie dolls for being too perfect for girls, then you might as well attack everything that projects an idealized image like t.v. shows and movies along with ads for cosmetics and fashion, it just never ends.

Get some liquid fabric softener and soak the hair in it for a speedy jointly as then comb it out gently- soak it longer in case you ought to then attempt combing it out lower back. purely attempt to no longer comb too tricky while attempting to get the rats out- otherwise Barbie will finally end up with some bald spots.
