We live on an Air Force base and my son threw some papers out the back window while at a stop light. OF COURSE there was a security officer's car behind us. I pulled over and picked it all up immediately. The officer was glaring at me the whole time. I don't even want to know what the ticket would have been if he decided to write me one for littering.

It wasn't my kid but my best friends son threw a water bottle out my window. It bounced up from the highway, hit someone's windshield causing a huge star burst in the glass. Thankfully there were only four vehicles involved in the accident and no one was seriously hurt.

My kids have never ever thrown anything out the window. I have child door and window locks. Its really the only power I have over my children. I use it often and hold it over my kids, usually laughing like an evil witch if they ask to open the window.

pretty sad really!
