Jill V - me too! My Mum loves/loved him and when I was growing up she used to go to his concerts a lot, as well as always playing his songs! I must admit I think he rocks too.
Great singer, songwriter AND entertainer.
I have not only been to one of his concerts but also met him and he is a really nice guy and a true gentleman. And yes, I admit I know many of the words of his songs!

Barry rocks! I grew up with parents who listened to him, therefore I knew all the words to the songs. For many years I turned my nose up at the thought of listening to him again. A few years ago, I did and realized how much I did still like his songs. I saw him in concert shortly after that and he put on an amazing show. It was a very fun concert! Since then, I've added his music to my list of favs.

I used to know a few... there was Lola - she was a showgirl
... then there was Tony - but he was shot dead... and oh.. yeah of course there was Rico - well he killed Tony...
There are more of course... I met some when i spent some Time in New England... oh and of course... who could forget Julie!

Barry has done some good tunes over the years, so I think his tunes will always crop up on the gold stations. Im not a fan though, i think hes a w##ker.

Barry is a good singer but it all goes downhill when u see his side profile..Reminds me of a toucan a bit..
