These people are only listing new songs. I honestly prefer the stuff from the 60s-90s. But, here are some of my more recent favorite songs.
Artist: Emerson Drive

I like almost all country artists, but my favorites are the two listed above, as well as: Alan Jackson, Garth Brooks, George Strait, Conway Twitty, George Jones, Tim McGraw, Johnny Cash, Martina McBride, Shania Twain, and Faith Hill
Limewire is the easiest way to download your songs. Beware of spyware though, only use the clean version. If you have any hacker friends ask them where to get it. (It's free). Dont use itunes, you cant copy the songs to your friends ipods or mp3 players. If you want to download full albums use torrents. Once again ask your hacker friend.

I take it that since you just discovered you like country music, what passes as country these days coming out of Nashville will suffice... but you really want a baptism, you need to check out classic country. Be warned, if your ears are sensitive to singing out your nose, you should probably find something a little further up the dial on the radio... check out Murder on Music Row to get a clue about the current state of country music. Producer Jimmy Bowen is the anti-christ of classic country, and Garth Brooks is the beast!
