I love both of Edith and Billie. I listen to these singers, along with Jacques Brel, Chet Baker and Ella Fitzgerald. They help me relax after a long hard day..........their voices just take you away and erase the stress.

I have just been to see the film 'La Vien Rose', about the life of Edith Piaf. It was sooooo moving and I think the whole picture house were sobbing!! And when she sang that 'No Regrets' song at the end - oh shivers down the spine!!
Interesting though, because she mentions Billie Holiday in the film when she makes reference to the fact that they were both born in the same year.
I have to confess, walking through the park in the rain on the way home I had to have a little sniffle!!
