Do you find that you need to dumb down your questions so the mob will understand you?

I ALWAYS dumb down my questions by at least a factor of 10 or so, but be that as it may, I'm still occasionally accused of being a pompous @$$. I hardly ever get more than 7 responses per [serious] question, BUT the ones I get are usually extremely thoughtful and even downright enlightening at times – and for which I’m truly grateful. … So, to answer your question: YES, there is intelligent life on Planet Y!A, obviously NOT many as you might have already discerned, but enough to make the site interesting to those of us that actually had to go to a video arcade to play Battle Zone!
P.S. I did ask a parody question in the genre of our good friend “enki” once (i.e. “Would you rather be a PUDDLE, a POODLE, or a POND”) and actually got 9 responses! :-) … In truth, most people seem to be here for the inherent fun and game factor of this venue and NOT to exchange knowledge (which is what Y!A seems to be frantically shooting for). Oh well!!! LOL

No, we're all with out any mind. The collective IQ of this neighborhood has been rumoured to be someplace among eleven to 19. Trolls, spammers, pre-young adults and Judas Rabbi rely, brain you. "Intellgent Life on Yahoo Answers" is a legitimate oxymoron.

Intelligent questions get less responses, but they are often the best ones. The fluffy questions gets lots and lots of worthless responses.
