I would put all of them ahead of Freddy Sanchez. It goes: Jimmy Rollins, Hanley Ramirez, Renterian, then Freddy Sanchez. I think the voters need to think more of how good the person is doing NOW, not how good they are and how good they were. Freddy Sanchez is NOT and All Star, while Jimmy Rollins is an All Star.

All four of the above are having very good years but I don't believe any of them deserve to be at the All-Star game. Remember, it's not how good a year they might be having, it's how do they compare to others for two limited spots on the team. Reyes and Hardy are the best two out of these six, this year, and they deserve to be there. To answer your question, I would put Sanchez behind the three you point out in addition to Reyes and Hardy.

indeed. all 3 over Sanchez. You have to have someone from every team, but i think Gorzelanny was much more of an All Star than Sanchez. It's just payback for his batting title last year.

seeming that MLB has a role that every team has one player in...and Freddy sanchez is pittburghs 1 player...this question is kinda stupid because he is there reguardless.. personaly i think they all should be in over him... but the rules are set so all fans can enjoy..
yes i am from pittsburgh, but realize that when people get excited for a team that is 10 games under 500, you learn to live with the fact your team has the highest gross margin in baseball because we trade off players as soon as they get good..
