My husband and I just found out we're pregnant :) ... So if it's a boy it will be Kaden... and if it's a girl it will be Macy, but I'd like some ideas on the spelling. I've seen:
Macie
Maycee
Macee
Maci
Maeci
Maicee
Any ideas or opinions?!?
Thanks :)

BTW.. This is named after my mom.. Her middle name is Mae... but I can't decide if I like it spelled Maeci or whatnot.. Middle name will be my mom's maiden name- Shannon. Macy Shannon

Stick with Macy, trendy "unique" spellings dont looks cool, they look like typos. I also perfer Caden to Kaden, but congrats!

Macey, Maycie, Maecey, Maecy, Maicey, Maycy, Masy, Maysee, Masee, Maisee, Maisy or Maicy
I like the original spelling, Macy, or Maicy. I also love the name Lindsay. I would spell it Lynzee, though.

Just remember-- if you have a strange spelling for your daughter's name, it might haunt her. My name haunts me-- lol, people misspell it all the time, even on Awards! Some things can't be re-printed, so you're stuck with a misspelling on your award. I think you'd be fine with
Macie (luv that spelling, btw)
Maycee
Maci
I wouldn't go with anything to wild....
Good luck!

Imagine any one of those names engraved on a plaque or a tombstone. Yuck. Why do people think that "cute spellings" are good? They just make the child's life harder from learning to spell and write it, to having to explain how it's spelled for a lifetime. I knew a SueZan who hated that "cute spelling" and at 40 had to gather her courage to get it changed to something standard so she didn't have to waste so much time correct people's spelling.

I like Macie best. It's cute. Plus, the others might cause confusion with the pronounciation.
