the old school sound is that speaker that clips to the window so no car would be running only when you come in and leave

It would probably have to be at a Colosseum or enclosed stadium and that would be a bit more pricey than most people would want to pay to go to a movie.
Though I love drive ins..or I did. even when the sound system was -and it usually was-bad. Saw the First Road Warrior and Mad Max at a drive in. Awesome. They had never been released in theaters at the time.

And when everyone dies from all the Carbon Monoxide coming from the cars, how are you gonna pay for all the lawsuits? ;-)
Regular in-door movie theatres show movies all day long and nobody dies! What would be the point of an in-door drive in? The whole FUN of going to the drive-in is the experience of the night sky as the backdrop to the movie watching experience. That would be lost at an 'in-doors drive-in'. Of course, the experience of an indoors would greatly be enhanced while watching everyone pass out to their death, just before dying yourself...lol Why not have charlcho cookout grills readily available as well? LOL! Kill 'em even quicker!
"Hey Wicked Toe. How's buisness today?" "Ah it's dead in here today", replies Wicked Toad. ;-)
