I am also voting for Ron Paul.
His voting record speaks alot.
He has never voted to raise taxes
Never voted for an unbalanced budget
never voted to raise congressional pay
never taken a government paid junket
never voted to increase the power of the executive brance
Voted AGAINST regulating the internet
He does not participate in the lucrative congressional pension program.
He protects the citizens rights and the Constitution. He will restore our republic.
People think that Ron Paul is a little bit extreme because he wants to eliminate the IRS. But my friends we did very well without paying those Federal Taxes. And what is your tax money paying for? Do you even know? Fairtax is a much better plan for our economy and country. The states would be able to regulate things and there is still enough money in our government to have a very strong military that can DEFEND us. And stop with the pre-emptive wars.
I asked this question before, but what Federal programs have actually been undeniabley successful?
Dept of Education?? NO. Our education is horrible right now.
Dept of Homeland Security? HMM NOT - they have been successful in undermining our constitution though
The war on drugs?? The war on Poverty? Welfare?? Medicare? Medicaid? NO NO NO NO. none of it.
Lets get this country back to the gold standard. Before the federal reserve ruins us all.
Get our troops home to defend us.
We need to open up the free market.
ROn Paul being a doctor knows and understands that the government is what is holding health care back.
Also he opposes the Real ID act. Which is a very scary thought. Clinton, Obama, Edwards, Giuliani Thompson, mccain, romney all CFR members and will continue forth in pushing this hidden agenda and the North American Union. -http://legislatorsagainstrealid.com/

Former Senator Mike Gravel. Out of the three truthful and honest candidates running, I think hes the best choice. (Ron Paul and Dennis Kucinich are the other two truthful and honest ones)
Gravel has an outstanding record of honesty, commitment and standing on principle even when that made him unpopular. He did a one-man filibuster in the Senate for 5 months in 1971 and forced the end of the military draft. Around that same time he released the Pentagon Papers, the secret official study that revealed the lies and manipulations of the government when getting us into Vietnam.
He wants to end the war in Iraq immediately.
He wants to get rid of the corrupted income tax system we have and replace it with a Fair Tax, so there will be no more exceptions for the rich and the corporations.
He wants to empower the American people, not himself, by using ballot initiatives at the federal level. We cant complain about how the government doesnt care about us or listen to us and then do nothing about it. People in 24 states and over 200 communities across the country already make laws though ballot initiatives. The people should be equal to their elected officials, and should have a say in policy issues that affect their lives.
Those are just three out of many reasons. I'll give you some links to check out.

I've heard Ron Paul in a radio interview not too long ago, and he does sound a bit intriguing. And I've never voted Republican in my life.
Obama's glitz and newness doesn't impress me (and a few of his recent decisions have frankly pissed me off), a few of Hillary's statements appal me, and the fact that some of the Republican candidates (i.e. Huckabee) can't take their heads out of their Bibles long enough to agree that evolution is a scientific fact terrifies me.
I am still somewhat interested in Edwards though.
I think it's far too early to make this decision, and the candidates need to be narrowed down a lot before I can truly make my mind up on who I want to vote for.

I'd also vote for Ron Paul. His policies are sharp and he's the most honest candidate. Compare his policy on the drug war, or Iraq, or taxes, to Hillary Clinton. Shouldn't it be obvious who the American people want? I believe the vision of the Founding Fathers isn't dead just yet. If we all get together on this, we can get the word out about Ron Paul to the whole country.

Ron Paul--because he has for integrity and he stands alone against so many corrupt. He hasn't sold out, he's not for sale, and he represents something about this country that I was raised believing in, but thought was dead.
He's not greedy. He represents the PEOPLE of the US, not multinational corporation's best interests and he is passionate about the Constitution.

I would vote for Rudy Guiliani because his actions after 9-11, you know stuff like bravely showing up at Yankees game with an FDNY cap on and making lots of speeches for loads of money after the event saying he is the man on security even though he did nothing that day, clearly make him presidential material.

I can not support Rudy, Mit, or McCain...
And I sure don't want another Clinton in the WH!
Obama is all window dressing...and no substance.
I'm voting for Fred Thompson in 2008.
Good man, loads of experience, means what he says, says what he means, he is a no nonsense kind of guy who will do what is needed, with out all of the drama like the other guys.
Check him out, listen to what he has to say, review his record(s)......then decide for yourselves.
