Just pay the damn ticket. You went through a red light got caught now you have to deal with the consequences.

If you run a red light there's really nothing you can do about it.

If you entered the intersection before the light turned red then in most places you wouldn't get a ticket although where you live may not be most places.

If you think you might be able to argue about it you could try taking the matter to court although you want to check the road rules in your area (although I'd expect most parents to forgive running an amber light, they've probably done it).

If you're a registered voter, ask your commitman if he/she could do anything for you. You might have to pay the fine but the points won't be added. I would suggest that you go to court with your commitman to make sure because that happened to me and was told it was taken care of but found out 2 years later that it wasn't. I then had to get a lawyer and I had to pay half but no point.

First, enroll in an English class!
Then, depending where you live, you may enroll in a traffic class that may eliminate the points from your license, you would still be responsible for the ticket though.

If you have to attend a class go and do it and pay your fine. It will be off in your record .
