I believe it is! Why is assaulting a latino (like me) or a black or Asian person more of a ruthless crime then a crime on a white person? Is this reverse discrimination? Shouldn't the laws be same for everyone?

Good Morning Nacho, You are awesome!

Hate Crime Legislation, EEOC, and Affirmative Action are all forms government sponsored racism. Look at employment and college applications. Why is there even an option for me to put down what race/nationality I am . . . does it really make a difference?

The Duke Lacrosse incident is an example of reverse racism. I have yet to hear Sharpton, Jackson and even what's his name, the DA? apologize for singling out the "white boys" . . . yet they all cry when a black woman makes the accusation . . . what has our country come to?!?

If I or a member of my family were to be murdered, would my/our death(s) be any less significant because we are caucasian? The trouble (as I see it) is, the social engineers of our society have drummed it into everyone's (the minorities) heads that "Whites" are where they are purely due to "white privilege." Therefore justifying affirmative action. It may have been true thirty to forty years ago, buto hold to that belief system today is to completely deny personal responsibility. Tying together "white privilege" and affirmative action with hate crime legislation is the common thread of descrimination. Yes. It is state sponsored racism.

Claude s- What the hell are you talking about? No mention of Republican or Democrap was ever mention you pin head. Try to keep up will you?

Yes it is Gov. Sponsored racism. We all need "equal" protection under the law, not one set of standards for one group and another set of standards for another group. This only enforces separation and hostility among the peeps. Because this group is seen as more important than this other group.

It's just another divisive issue that dems like to use. When Repubs vote against it they can use that same old lame excuse that we are just looking out for the poor and downtrodden. Dem's don't care about poor people. They want to keep them right where they are so they can keep them dumbed down and gobble up their votes.

Murder is disgusting and deserves the death penalty no matter what the motive is.

For once I stated my opinion in one sentence. Woohoo!
