I love the bike.... my only complaint is the lack of pegs for my wife to sit on the back. I'd like to buy some pegs to fit in with the rest of the chrome package. Alternately, if there are any DIY plans floating around, I wouldn't mind building them myself....

Maybe you can bolt that bracket to your scoot.
Make sure it's bolted to metal and not just plastic.
Look at Honda & Yamaha scooters for other ideas.

Vespa used to have a set of side crash bars that had an extra platform for the passengers feet, but those have long since been discontinued. I would suggest checking online at some vespa restoration shops - most are in the UK.
