I hate to sound childish, but, I went to the boss after the meeting and proved it was my Idea. To steal someones money is a terrible thing, but, it can be replaced. To steal an idea, is to steal forever. It can't be replaced. If this has happened to you, you need to set the record straight. There was a book I read (you should read it too, it's at the library) that said something very true. "You should be a warrior for your ideas" (A Kick in the seat of the pants) ( or A whack up side the head) Can't remember which it was in, but, they are both about the same subject, "creative thinking".

Yes. I wrote the lyrics to This Is My Now, sung my American Idol winner Jordan Sparks. Those jerks who took credit stole my song from the contest by hacking the system and making it look like they made it. Very disheartening.

JK :-) Never had any of my ideas stolen...yet...

Yes all the time. What happens is this. I'll put some ideas forward, and people say no to them or ignore me. Then when the issue arises again, they'll mention my past ideas themselves as if they are theirs. How do I react?. I say nothing to them, there's no point. But to myself I do show how painful it is for me.

Yes, a lot of times indeed. I talked to the person. Then I get over it.

yes, it has. i got really mad, but then the person who copied me had not done it as well as i had. and so, her plan just turned out to be a failure. and plus, i sent mine in earlier than her, so everyone just thought of her as a copycat. not someone with a really cool idea. =P
