Bill Clinton will be extremely effective at foreign relations around the world. Forget the right whining about his impeachment, the rest of the world loves him. He'll do a fine job of helping to repair the damage that Bush has caused to our relationships with our Allies and he'll be very effective at diplomacy with those nations who are not our Allies. It would be hard to find someone with a deeper and more impressive resume to represent us around the world who is also so well respected by the world. If anyone could take on that job and be more effective, I haven't heard of them.

As a guy I wouldn't mind a female president at all just not Hillary. Her husband is the laughing stock of the world for his womanizing over the years and her standing by him makes her look just as bad. How many scandals is it going to take to get the Clinton's away from the democratic spot light? Bill wasn't a bad president but go away already he was no Regan.

Bill Clinton spent 8 years trying to make the lives of ordinary Americans better. He also tried to make America better understood and liked the world over. He didn't try to throw America's weight around the world. So he could be expected to do a better job than the current occupant of the White House and his cronies. But no one, not even Bill Clinton will be able to undo the damage done to America's good name nor extricate this country from the doodoo that George W Bush has thrown it into. He will be able to soothe relations with the countries of the Middle East because he will treat them with the respect they deserve and he will talk to them not as a master but as an equal.

Yes, I feel Bill Clinton can repair most of the damage that has been done under the current president. As for Hillary, She would make a great president and I feel it is time for a woman president.

Nobody can "fix" foreign relations. Our friends and enemies across the world all have their own ideas about what is best for the world. The people in each country can not agree. It is just like the US Congress. No two people think alike.

You got to be kidding go back and check his record while he was in office they tried to blow up the world trade center blew up two of our embassies. Organized the plan to attack us on 9/11/01 and the whole time he was busy turning the White House into A whorehouse. If I was Hillary and won I'd make him an ambassador in a forieign country, anything to get him out of this one. The only relation he had while in office were immoral ones.

I'm not wild about the Clintons, but he would probably be a good candidate to mend foreign relations. I think the damage they would do to the many other facets of our country would outweigh the good he would do on the foreign front, but yeh - he'd probably be pretty good.

Can't hurt...he is well respected around the world and actually used diplomacy when he was President. I don't think any one person can fix all of our problems with other countries, but I think he is as good of a statesman as anyone else is.

"Can Clinton really fix our foreign relations problems?"

No. We need a non-interventionist like Ron Paul to improve our image abroad and make us safer. Clinton is just against the Iraq War and is by no means a non-interventionist.
