Integrated graphics means the video chipset is built-in to the motherboard. For most desktops, you can simply add a better graphics card later as long as the system has a PCI-Express x16 slot for video (or AGP slot on older machines)

For laptops/notebooks, you can't upgrade the graphics afterward- whatever it comes with from the factory is what you've got for the lifetime of the machine, so look for models that have good video chipsets like GeForce Go 7000 series, Radeon X1600 series and better.

Here are the specs on the Dell Dimension E521:

Integrated means its using your system process to run the graphics as well. If your planning on playing games and what not I suggest you get a graphics card so your computer as well as games get an overall boost. This comes from the fact that integrated uses your precious system ram. While using a graphics card means it runs off the card instead of using the systems resources.

My understanding is anytime integrated is used it is meant as it is integrated into the mother board. As long as there is an open slot in the back I don't think you will have a problem using another graphics card. As for the page, I have no clue...good luck.

intergrated graphics means you dont have a graphics card and your graphics are handled by your motherboard sharing your systems memory
